Our Mission
The Oroko Cultural Association USA (OCA-USA) exists to unite all people of Oroko descent living in the United States of America, to promote the cultural heritage of the Oroko people, to foster goodwill and cooperation among members, and to advance the social, cultural, and economic interests of our community at home and abroad.
Our Vision
To be the foremost Oroko diaspora organization in the United States — a beacon of cultural pride, community strength, and sustained investment in OrokoLand for all generations.
Our History
OCA-USA was formally established in September 1997 at a historic gathering of Oroko people across the United States. What began as a small network of community members from the Meme and Ndian divisions of Cameroon has grown into a nationally recognized organization with 12 US chapters and 4 international chapters serving nearly 1,890 registered members.
"The OROKO are not just an Ethnic Group. They are a Civilization!"
